Firstly, he praised the performance of goalkeeper Alessandro Zappacosta, who made several crucial saves to keep the score level at half-time. Secondly, he praised the work of midfielder Marco Busio, who played a key role in creating the winning goal late in the second half.
"Busio was excellent today," Spalletti said. "He created several good opportunities for us and his passing ability was instrumental in our success."
Despite their victory, Spalletti admitted that there is still work to be done if they want to challenge for Serie A title. "We have a lot of games left this season and we need to improve our performances even more," he said.
Overall, Spalletti is pleased with the result and is confident that his team can continue to improve and compete for honours in the coming months.
