Brighton & Hove Albion have announced that Mac Allister has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2027.
The Argentine midfielder, who joined the Seagulls in January 2019 from River Plate, has made 48 appearances for the club and scored four goals.
Allister's contract was due to expire at the end of this season, but he has now signed a new deal until the summer of 2027.
In a statement released by the club, manager Graham Potter said: "We're absolutely delighted to extend Mac's stay at the Club beyond next season."
"Allister is one of our most valuable players and we're very proud of everything he's achieved since joining us last year.
"He brings so much quality to the team on the pitch and off it, and we look forward to seeing what he can achieve over the coming years."
Potter also revealed that Allister will be available for selection for the upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester City on Sunday.
The 23-year-old has been a regular starter for the Seagulls this season, and has helped them to secure their place in the top half of the table.
Allister has been linked with a move away from Brighton in recent months, with reports suggesting that Paris Saint-Germain were interested in signing him.
However, the Argentine has put pen to paper on a new deal, which should provide some relief for the club as they look to build on their impressive start to the season.
Allister has already established himself as one of the best young midfielders in England, and his extension could signal a bright future ahead for the club.
