Bochum and 1. FC Köln played out a thrilling draw in their latest Bundesliga encounter at the Veltins-Arena on Saturday evening.
The match was full of excitement from start to finish as both teams put in a strong performance to try and gain an advantage over their opponents. In the opening minutes, Bochum took the lead through a well-taken goal from striker Max Kruse. However, the visitors were not deterred and quickly equalized through a penalty kick taken by 1. FC Köln forward Julian Draxler.
Despite being behind, Bochum continued to push forward and create chances for themselves. They eventually found a way back into the game when midfielder Lukas Hradecky scored his first goal since joining the club earlier this season.
In the end, it was a closely contested match that saw both sides leave without any further goals. The draw means that Bochum remain in 14th place in the table, while 1. FC Köln dropped down to 15th after their defeat. Both teams will now look to bounce back in their next matches.
